Configuration error to blame for Cisco data leak
The data leak from Cisco’s DevHub was caused by a configuration error during a data migration process and not a breach. The error temporarily exposed files and allowed a hacker who goes by the name of IntelBroker to download them. Cisco temporarily disabled public access, corrected the configuration error and launched an investigation involving law enforcement and third-party experts.
