The fact that wireless technology is dangerous has been known for many decades, however when tests we originally performed it was very old technology with low power devices at a much lower frequency band. It was also assumed that people would only use their phones for a very limited period of time during each day. Using this basis it was decided that they were not dangerous for users. There was no test done to prove this theory of continued use.
Todays phones have Increased output power, higher frequencies and are with its owner for extended periods. No new tests have been performed, or at least not any that have been made public based on the new scale of use. The example test in this video shows that using wireless headsets makes the problem of radiation close to the head much worse. Using corded head phones alleviates most of the radiation around the head. It however never showed where the phone was, and if in a pocket, the full power of the radiation would be centered around the groin, and could cause sterility or deformation and brain damage to a fetus in the process of growth.
