Server Upgrades
Well, I spent Friday upgrading some work servers and after all that was finished, I have rediscovered some things.
- RPM package management is for ball-sucking rejects.
- Debian’s apt suite of tools is the creamy juice of software management tools.
- Migrating form Apache to LightTPD is fun.
- RRDTool is really neato.
- rsync has a bandwidth limit flag
- opcode caching is worth its weight in gold.
- Too many muscle relaxers can get you stoned.
- Bourbon tastes better when one is tired…
