Server Upgrades

Well, I spent Friday upgrading some work servers and after all that was finished, I have rediscovered some things.

• RPM package management is for ball-sucking rejects.
• Debian’s apt suite of tools is the creamy juice of software management tools.
• Migrating form Apache to LightTPD is fun.
• RRDTool is really neato.
• rsync has a bandwidth limit flag
• opcode caching is worth its weight in gold.
• Too many muscle relaxers can get you stoned.
• Bourbon tastes better when one is tired…
