Merry Christmas!
OMFG!!! Jo-Anne got me a Victorinox DiveMaster watch for Christmas!!! I am soooo lucky! Seriously. What an awesome present. She also got me some booze to go in our really cool decanter / glasses set which my mom gave us, and a nice cigar (which I promptly smoked). We spent Friday night at our friends’ Christine & Simon’s place having a really nice dinner with Mike & Kim, and Nils & Zolynne + Cohen Wallace (who was pleasantly happy with everyone but cried on queue whenever I made eye contact with him) :) /me shrugs.
We Drank a couple of bottles of Chianti, and ate Milk-Tart (which is awesome!) for dessert. We all lounged around, had some good laughs and headed for home with full tummy’s and happy souls.
I spent Christmas eve day coding on a project site, and Jojo spent it playing video games and although we both didn’t feel like a million bucks, the day ended with both of us feeling better, because we got to open our presents (South African’s celebrate on Christmas eve) and Jojo got to watch It’s A Wonderful Life, which is the same movie the American FBI touted as a Communist Propaganda Movie. Jojo got to speak to her parents, her Granddad and her brother yesterday which I am really glad for, although I would like it more if all of them migrated here this year, so next Christmas Jojo can be with them, because she hasn’t seen them in a few years now.
