Google Is Not Immune To Problems

This morning, like every other morning, I inevitably head to google to find stuff. They are my default search engine and for good reason, the do search really well.

This morning in particular however, it appears that one of their features has been either incorrectly implemented or maliciously (no pun intended) activated. I wonder if this is just an oversight to be fixed, or if this is the result of some recently laid-off employees

Google today, redirecting all search results to StopBadware.org

Update: The reason for the issue was a single character. The URL of ‘/’ was mistakenly checked in as a value to the file (the bad URLs list) and ‘/’ expands to all URLs.
